For Winter and Spring 2017, we got cooking. Vaynermedia was tasked with making Quaker® Oats part of consumer’s daily ritual by seeding and amplifying new and existing trends in the digital and social space. We started by researching the latest food trends to inform ingredients in new recipes and identified emerging trends for the brand to break into. After working with a chef to create original recipes, we nailed down the content allocation of 3 how-to videos, 45 posts for Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, and a choose your own adventure canvas ad unit. Ultimately, we generated content that amplified trends like smoothie bowls and mug cakes, seeded new oat inspiration with DIY instant oat packets, and kept consumers engaged with Quaker® all the way through the first half of the year.
